INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS
The MNRC Program Committee invites original, unpublished paper submissions for the MNRC 2009. Authors should clearly explain the significance of the work, highlight novel features, and describe its current status. All accepted papers will be published on IEEE Xplore. The call for papers can be downloaded here.
Final Paper Submission:.
For final submission, the authors of accepted papers should submit electronically the final four-page camera-ready manuscript as well as the IEEE Copyright Form on or before September 9, 2009. Please note, in order to be published through IEEE, a representative from each research paper must register and be present at the conference on October 14, 2009.
Before submitting a final paper to MNRC 2009, authors must ensure their papers are IEEE Xplore compliant by using IEEE PDF eXpress. The IEEE PDF eXpress tool can be used to convert your source file (e.g., doc, LaTex, etc.) to an IEEE compliant PDF file, or to check your PDF file for compliance. Follow these steps:
1) Please go to the IEEE PDF eXpress site at http://www.pdf-express.org/log.asp
2) Click on the link "New Users - Click Here", and fill in your information to create your account. You will need the Conference ID which is: mnrc09x
3) Detailed instructions can be found at: http://www.pdf-express.org/frhelpnologin.asp .
4) Papers that are not IEEE Xplore compliant cannot be published on IEEE Xplore.
Once you have completed these steps, submit enter your passcode and submit your final IEEE Xplore compliant paper, along with your IEEE Copyright form here.
Oral Presenters:
If your research was accepted for an oral presentation, you will be presenting your research on October 14, 2009 and compete for the Gold, Silver and Bronze Leaf Certificates. Your research will also be published through IEEE Xplore. Please note, one of the authors must register for the conference, attend the MNRC 2009 and present your research in order to compete and be published through IEEE Xplore.
Poster Presenters:
If your research was accepted for a poster presentation, you will be exhibiting your research on the evening of October 13, 2009 and throughout MNRC 2009 on October 14, 2009. Your research will also be published through IEEE Xplore however you will not be competing for the Gold, Silver and Bronze Leaf Certificates. Please note, one of the authors must register for the conference, attend the MNRC 2008 and exhibit your research in order to be published through IEEE Xplore. Please review the poster presentation guidelines below.
Draft Paper Submission:
All submissions are to be made electronically through the MNRC 2009 website by Monday, June 29, 2009.
Authors will be notified of acceptance into the MNRC 2009 competition by the Technical Program Committee via e-mail by Monday, August 5, 2009.
Submitted papers will be subject to a peer-review process. Based on the review and the technical program committee recommendation, the selected papers will be accepted for either oral or poster presentation. All accepted authors must register and attend the conference on October 14, 2009 in order to be published on IEEE Xplore. No hard copy of the MNRC 2009 conference proceedings will be distributed during the conference.
Paper Format:
Paper submissions should be complete manuscripts, up to 4 pages (inclusive of figures, tables, and bibliography) in a standard IEEE two-column format. Papers exceeding the page limit will not be considered for review.
A brief abstract (approx. 50-100 words) and five keywords identifying the topic area are also required.
On the title page, please include:
- author name(s),
- affiliation(s),
- the mailing address,
- phone number,
- fax number, and
- e-mail address of the contact author.
